Anyone have ideas on suitable replacements for Epic 40k style dozer blades? Looking to add a bunch on my Iron Warriors army. Could scratch build or model them in 3d for shapeways...but curious if there are any alternatives to buy in bulk out there? |

I've asked around and there's interest in modeling them in shapeways, but nobody has actually gotten around to doing it. I'd especially love to see an E40k-era Vindicator to E:A-era dozer blade. Hint hint if you are a 3d modeler. ![]() |

I plan on getting into CAD modelling in the next 6 months or so and a dozer blade is early on my to do list, but I need to save up for a new laptop first as my current one is like a decade old. |

I actually did one yesterday (hadn't even seen this topic). Mine are meant to be used for "squatifying" my rhinos. https://tinkercad.com/things/3miHXg0Yi2 ... ozer-blade My father printed it today but I haven't seen the result yet. If it works quality wise I will be doing several different versions (tilted, rounded and angled). |

Shoel i did download your blade to check it out in blender/maya. I may get to modelling my own, with different variations and such, i guess for me its all about making sure it fits perfectly with the older rhinos, basilisks etc...let me know how yours turns out with the final 3d print! |

I'll post photos as soon as i get my hands on the print out. From heresay the rivets doesn't show up on the printed blade, so I might need to do them oversized. |

Ground Zero Games Engineer equipment has a few nice blades on it along with cranes and digger buckets might be worth a look. |

I assume you mean this http://shop.groundzerogames.co.uk/index ... uct_id=212 No clue as to why GZG can't get it together to actually put PICTURES OF THEIR MINIATURES ONLINE ![]() |

I went old school and hand sculpted my own, then cast it in silicone to flush out my Imperial fists army. The blades I made were specifically for the vindicator (so it has the notch) but you could easily make one without. http://combatchronicles.com/post/72630974994/picture-of-a-dozer-blade-i-made-from-plasticard Attachment: Volrath wrote: Anyone have ideas on suitable replacements for Epic 40k style dozer blades?
