Great stuff L4 wonderful detail painting and nice little conversions. Those decals make a difference. You need to get the bases finished. |

Many Thanks Boyz ! As many know here, my crew and I started Epicing in '90-'91 ... back then bases were not flocked. And we like that paradigm. As we feel they look for like chess/gaming pieces ... not a mini diorama. It's just the way we do things. Flocking bases didn't come around until SM2 ... but we're real old school, and stick with as many SM1 concepts. Even the original Army Lists for most forces ... I used green stuff for the patrol caps, and scalp locks. And if you notice some have Mohawks and other "hair dooz". I simply cut off the Ork from sprue at the top of the tree. Instead of on thev top of the Orks' heads. Resulting in some unique hair pieces. Like you'd see on some American Indians Tribes and ferals around the world in the past. The Ork Skin is any medium shade of green washed with Game Inks Black Green, dry brushed with an old green I had that was almost a light pastle green, then touched up with the old GW Wash Thraka Green. |
