Just wondered if anyone here has ever ordered any of the fantasy army packs, and if so what they contained. I'm intending to order several this week and the misses and I were wondering what thye actually included. I know they say that their is 250-300 miniatures per set but we wanted to know the break down of the types, especially if the army packs contains the chariots. I'm intending to order the lesser goblins as I have seen them online and they look pretty smart- mostly for my fantasy army, but the left overs will mix in with my troublemaker gobbos. I am going for the ratmen pack, as I really want a 6mm skaven army, as they it a scratch builders dream- Cant wait to have a reason to start making 10+ 6mm scale doomwheels! Not to mention the bell towers and making some truly humongous abominations! Any left over rats will be feed in to a rat themed death guard army, as I clearly don't have enough space marines to finish my DG now. There seems to only be one photo online of them and its not very clear, but they look like they should be pretty good once painted and massed up. I'm going for the irregular stuff this time round as I am in need of some goblin archers for KoW as no one else makes them yet, and Im going to make the most of having to order from them. |

That is a good question! Interested to hear an answer to it as well as i am toying with the idea of starting 6mm fantasy (using Mayhem) soonish myself. My interest would be focused on their Goblins, Undead and Sons of Set! ![]() Can't say i am very convinced by the sculpt quality based on the (awful) pictures and painting on their website but they are dirt cheap! ![]() Might end up test buying a strip each to allow for better judgement... If you end up buying from them, would you mind posting some nice pictures of the miniatures please? |

Try Microworld ... they have a great 6mm Fantasy [and Sci-fi ] line(s) ... and a website with pics and ... IMO, they do better casts than Irregular ... http://www.microworldgames.com/ |

Thanks guys. I have three microworld armies already, they are much much better than anything from irregular- trouble is a)no goblin archer minis which I'm in major need of and b) Ordering from them has to be done in large chunks due to the royal mail scum charging me almost £30 for one parcel and finally c) No microworld ratmen as of yet! There are some pretty good shots of some of the lesser goblins on the 'webs, which is the ones I intend get to use for goblin archers. I have a huge amount of baccus goblins and whilst some of the quality is a little shakey, they are fantastic little sculpts. I intend to use Microworld for undead as they are far superior, but irregular are nice and cheap and do have a humongous range to draw from, sadly microworld have some major gaps as of now (gobbo archers and ratmen being the biggest for me right now!) When I order some I will post photos in my fantasy plog, as I have done with the microworld miniatures. |

I received my parcel from Irregular and it was HEAVY! for around £50 I got three army bags and a handful of odd minis. The army sets for £12.50 each are great value. I will get a full rundown on them on my 6mm log over the next few weeks as I just don't have the time to go in to detail with them now, but of the three sets I ordered each one contained roughly: -30 bases of infantry, mixed -4 chariots (except for in the dark dwarves they had 0 ) - 2 or so leaders (no where near enough but they are so cheap to get more anyway) Instead of chariots the dark dwarves came with a selection of giants or ogres which are rather nice. The lesser goblins came with a ring wrath on horse figure instead of heroes (which was great as I wanted one but ordered the ring wrath on dark beast instead and thought I'd get the horse one next time) The ratmen swarm comes with one giant monster rat (looks like a 10mm or 15mm figure) but with a little conversion with make an awesome hellpit monstrosity! The dark dwarves are lovely minis but need a lot of clean up- fair amount of flash. They are joined together so unable to cut many away from their base of 5. The lesser gobbos are nice but so small the loose a lot of detail- I'm sure better painters then me can work round that- but are nice figures, especially their chariot! The rat swarm figures are brilliant! They need very little clean up, some are separate so they can be cut away, and their chariot is pulled by loads of human slaves. They felt like the best deal out of the lot, as they seem to be larger and come with slightly more then the other deals. They paint up quick, and have some great details on them! Slightly larger than regular 6mm stuff but I will be getting at least a £100 more in the near future. |

Yeah the website pics are horrid, there are a few dotted about online but they are few and far between and took me a good while to find some. I will get some pictures as soon as I can, hopefully in the next week. Prey for some good sunlight as my camera is a bit rubbish. The rats will be first as I had already started to paint some, they are that good! Some of the odd minis are painted already, including one of the hydras I ordered, he just needs a base! |

Got the Undead one myself recently and the first of the Undead stuff is up and painted for value it's excellent lots of cavalry and infantry. Unfortunately I undercoated it too fast to get a picture of what was within. There is some pictures of the painted stuff in my Army of New Haven post on here. |
