Doing some calculation based on the 40K scale figure, I get that it should be around 1"-1.4" tall, but that seems big to me. I have been assuming something about the size of an Imperial Knight (i.e. on a 25mm base). I was thinking of trying to do a conversion based off a 40K stealth suit, but then got pointed to some heavy gear blitz models that might work pretty well, but still not comfortable with the size issue. here is an example from the Heavy Gear stuff. I think it should be like half between the Tau Suits and the Stompa. Or half a stompa even. |

Double the height of a Crisis suit looks close enough to me given the comparison images I've seen. |

And Epic Crisis suits are what? 15mm tall? Making the Riptide about 30mm? |

I think they're probably closer to 10mm, but the riptide is probably about 1.5 times the size so 25mm is probably close enough. I can check when I'm next sat in front of one... |

Epic Battlesuit are 10mm hence 25 mm seems like a good starting point. Bit smaller than a Stompa. From the looks of some images I've seen, is the head of the 40k Riptide the same as one from a Battlesuit? |

Yes it is. Or at least that is what I have been told by people ho own one. I don't actually have a Riptide myself yet. But when it came out we were told the heads were interchangeable. |
