Hi. I've been abducted into 6mm gaming by a couple friends from my local gaming group (Hello, Midian! ![]() 10 Kunitsa APCs from Brigade Models which I intend to use as Chimeras for an Epic Imperial Guard force: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My photos are quite horrible, I know, but I'm quite glad with the results for my first try at 6mm, and very happy with the color scheme. |

The Brigade Models 6mm Neo-Soviet line has some fantastic IG proxies, in my opinion. Almost everything except maybe a good Leman Russ proxy. I'm also using the British VTOL from the same 6mm range as a Valkyrie/Vendetta proxy, but those are still very much a WIP. |

Solid start. Those would be good for rhinos as well. |

Rastamann wrote: Very nice start! Would it be too much to ask for a size-comparison shot with some infantry near them? Actually, since these are my very first 6mm purchases it would. I'll see if I can arrange that comparison shot with a friend's Marines, though his paintjob will make mine look like crap XD |

Brigade models tend to be a little small compared to Epic ... but they are closer to "real" 6mm, IIRC ... But they fit in fine with Epic ... |

The Brigade stuff is quite good actually. Smaller than Epic, like L4 says, but a whole force comprised of them wouldn't look out of place on the table. And the prices are very, very good. Service was excellent, too. I don't have those particular models, but I do have some of the Vombats (Link) if anyone wants some comparison pics. |

Nice looking bunch. Looking forward to seeing more ! I can second the quality (and service) from Brigade. I did some myself here http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20734&start=30 (in a similar Ad Mech stylie) and see here http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20780 if anyone interested in some comparison shots. The marmot makes a great russ proxy imho. And i use the British flyer as marine thunderbolts. Unfortunately next "heroic" GW stuff they look a little tiny, so i hived most of them off in their own Ad mech army in which i will probably add bases to my tanks to boost them up a little. On the table they look fine with epic minis. |
