Getting into the EA I decided my first force would be a larger/smaller version of my 40K SM army The Iron Ghosts (should you be interested, pics can be found in the gallery section of my blog, link is in my sig). Haven't gotten around to the basing yet, bar the test piece, but I'll show my stuff so far - probably in a few smaller batches, not to spend all my time at work uploading pics :D More pics can be found in my blog. I've always enjoyed weathering my models and though it a very different experience on this scale, I still think it adds some life to the minis.

First of are the test pieces

and a few more:

I love the fact the Rhinos and LR's look like proper iron monsters! Look great!

Square bases and the SM plastics always make me nostalgic. They look great Manus.

I like the color scheme and that drop pod you made is fantastic

Great effective scheme. Interesting techniques used. Looks to be large use of pigments / pigment washes.

My only suggestion would be to add some red to the drop pod. Maybe an angled stripe on the fins?

Thanks guys, really appreciate you kind words. And yes the pod needs some red too, just have to figure out where

Personally I wouldnt change the pod. in reality the colours would burn up on re-entry! haha!

The top of the fins (where demarcated by the indent from the two parts of plsticard) is where i'd do it. Top red, the rest your ghosty grey. Also prevents said burning as Berkut notes :D
