I know these are Rhinos, a Land Raider and a Thunderhawk. Were they used as objectives or some type of bogged-down marker? I guess with the Thunderhawk it's likely an objective. There are no markings on the bottom but I'm assuming these were official GW items. I believe the two Rhinos together are meant to be cut-apart. The edges around the others look like they were cut out as well. |

No markings on the bottom .. Where did you get these? I'm thinking these could have been someones attempt at homecasting? |

They were included in a large collection I purchased recently. These are purposely designed to look like they are stuck in the ground, not an attempt at making a full vehicle. |

I agree with Parintachin they do look like home castings. Although if painted right would make great scenery. Especially the Thawk as it has that slumped look that crashed aircraft get! I love buying job lots. i have got a few off of Ebay and its like a mini Xmas. |

third vote for (pretty poor) home cast here, what is the underside like – if they look like there were done in a one part mould then no way they were GW. Thunerhawk is fun though. |

Home casts for sure. They were cast from the plastic rhinos and land raiders. That grainy look is also something I associate with poor quality home casting. Don't get me wrong, they're fun and great objectives, but not official I don't think. |

I'm going with homemade bootlegged jobs too ... As noted ... they'd make good Objectives or just battlefield scatter terrain for cover ... Blown-up stuff ain't supposed to be pretty ... |

I asked the seller about it and he said the same thing, got them in a trade and he thinks they were homemade as well. |

They're a pretty off thing to make casts of. It probably cost more money in rubber and metal than just using the old plastic stuff to make them. |

I know, they are really heavy too. Lead maybe? I think the Land Raider (which is only the top half) is heavier than the original. |

I just used a digital scale to weigh the Land Raider objective and it's 1.3 oz. A metal land raider from this time period weighs 1.2 oz. Keep in mind this objective is just the upper 1/4 of a land raider sticking out of the ground. I realize this was made from a plastic land raider so the design is not exactly the same. I'll likely keep them and paint them up as terrain/objectives. |

Definitely worth keeping. Great talking point. |

I would keep them too. Paint them up as over grown wrecks. Be great objectives "retrieve the missing relic" type things. |
