Greetings,

as many of you may have seen my attemt to create a model of Mortarion and The Emperor, I decided to open a generalized thread for my Epic 30k-stuff!

At first let me introduce: the Fellblade super heavy tank! Ready for battle, this monster is really menacing!

As allways I am happy to read your comments, as they help me to improve!
Stay tuned, if you like the atmosphere of the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy!

That is a very nicely done conversion, i like that you have used the old Mk1 land raider lascannons.
That is the best Fellblade i have seen, hat off to you sir.

Many thanks for your comments!

Can anyone propose a possibility do create a mini of Rogal Dorn? I'm not quite sure how to start the conversion.

Nice work on that fellblade, I'd always wanted to do one but the idea of butchering more plastic land raiders for tracks put me off(Cutting that plastic is a nightmare). What you've done though is super simple & came out really cool!

Rogal Dorn will probably end up looking very similar to your Emperor, Dorn is said to have looked most like his father. Most models I've seen made make a point of using the Aquilla topping his backpack, from the John Blanche artwork to make him stand out, that'd probably be the easiest to do at this scale.

This model over on warseer is one of the best conversions I've seen at 28mm. I hope you find it good for inspiration.

Thanks Captain,

your comments are most valuable. About Dorn I think of using a power armoured marine, instead of a terminator as base model.

About that 'blade: How would one cut up Land Raiders to build one? Is there a reference on that?

The fellblade & old plastic land raider(proteus) share the same style of tracks so I'd have tried to transplant the tracks from old land raiders. The plastic is a mighty pain in the butt to work with though!

I have no idea what a Fellblade is.
I do know that model is bad-ass though.
