Returning to Epic after a break. Getting the urge to paint some futuristic stuff since my main game now is Warmachine and Hordes. Picked up a decent Eldar lot after GW turned it's back on the SG community. With the help of the community I was able to flesh it out and start an Alaitoc force.

Pair of Cobras. A much maligned SHT I guess but I REALLY like them. Forming a solid core in my list, and also my BTS.

Aircraft support. 1 Vampire and 3 Nightwings

And Alaitoc Eldar calls for plenty of trees, so I got some ready for the project.

Here is my initial 3000 point list that i am working with:

Ranger Warhost (4 Rangers, 3 War Walkers) 200
Ranger Warhost (4 Rangers, 3 War Walkers) 200
Ranger Warhost (4 Rangers, 3 War Walkers) 200

Starting off slower then expected, but work is work. Avatar is getting based. Focusing on maintaining craft world colors while respecting the molten body. Very early WIP.

I look forward to seeing a craftworld expand (and then be eaten)

you should use GW 40k bases if you want nice rounded flat bases for epic, just trip the edge to remove the height and your good to go. works really well for the larger bases too, objectives fit perfectly on them.

Finished off the Avatar. Went back to an original molten scheme. Made sure to add some blue for craftworld consideration.

Pathfinder Troupe. I know it is supposed to be 5 per base, but supplies are limited and honestly i dont see it as a huge issue.

Back from the dead!

Commissions kept me away from personal painting for a bit but i am back on the Eldar now for a while before co season steals me away again.

Converted some Dire Avengers for my Alaitoc list:
