How are folks trying to store their epic I'm very short of space and Citadel cases aren't cutting the mustard right now. |

I store epic in citadel cases, KR cases, takeaway containers, FW shipping boxes, compartmented plastic boxes, and on card trays. I pile it into old spray can lids, the upturned plastic of old blister packs, zip-lock bags, in it's original boxes, plastic business card holders, type cases, padded envelopes, and stacked in envelopes inside little tidies i've made from cut down MWG shipping boxes. I store it beside itself, around itself, on top of itself, and on occasion inside itself. Wrapped in tissue, wrapped in paper, bubble-wrap, guilt, polystyrene, joy, and foam. On shelves, on tables, in drawers, in stacks, stooks, piles, heaps, temporary sorting corrals, and, the best storage method of all: by lending it to other people so that it's not my problem. I'm not sure I so much store it, as gather it up as a sign for help and impending financial distress. Unfortunately no one notices as the only people interested in the mass storage of very small sci-fi things are other people interested in very small sci-fi things, and as such they are in no position to help. Good luck. ![]() |

I can vouch for the VHS box method used by moredakka. I recently received some nids from him and had forgotten all about those cases - they're perfect! |

Hi! This has been a major issue for me over the years. Simple put I have yet to find anything suitable. As mentioned most hobby solutions are for 28mm and are inadequate to fit or protect 6mm stuff. Quite frankly I've been thinking of custom making some storage to suit the 6mm scale. I guess this is another downside of playing inside a niche market. Primarch |

Mate, I use Army Transbporter foam trays, they are great for keeping your models safe. The case is good for moving about to games. The trays are pick out, so you make the shape you need to fit your model. Various sizes allows you to place larger units in with safety. Cheers Aaron |

Can they accommodate titans, and other big epic models? I'm gonna put a lot of weight on your opinion on these, since I am really hurting for a good solution. Thanks! Primarch |

I use the AT trays. I usually hollow them out for INF and AV, laying down a sheet of magnetic stuff so my bases stick to them. For the bigger stuff, I pluck the foam out. My E40k Warlord, Thawks, Landing Craft Battle Barge all are happy in them. |

Hey Primarch Bank that opinion mate, I have them for all of my models. I have true scale Reavers in them standing over 3" with no issues. All of my aircraft and fleets live in them. You can get a battle company with rhinos and dreads into a single tray. Its quite easy to work things out. Generally I get around 20 Land Raiders to a tray. I use 1" for my Marines Chaos and Guard, 1.5" for Eldar and Super Heavy Tanks. Cheers Aaron |

I always wanted to hear from people whom actually uses them for epic on how they worked out. So use the 1" thick ones for things as tall as a land raider and 1.5" for certain eldar and superheavies and 3" think for titans? Again, thanks for the responses. The primarchload really appreciates it! ![]() Primarch |

Actually, Superheavies like Shadowswords fit just fine in 1" trays. 1.5" trays are good for taller things like Squat stuff and Knights, although my Baron and command Knights are lying down because of their banner poles. I use 2" trays for things like Warhounds, Ordinatus Majoris and Capitol Imperialis. My Titans live in 2.5" trays. |

Well it seems the pile on for Army Transports continues! ![]() I feel comfortable investing in them now. Since everything will repainted, I really need something to protect that investment. Seems these are it. ![]() Thanks! Primarch |

Investing in Army Transport bags was one of the best things I ever did. I own two of the standard bags and extra trays to fill a third one. I'm tempted to buy the Motor Pool bag which holds trays side by side, making it easier to remove things on the bottom. |
