I've measured the holes in the warlord's carapace and they seem to be 2.5mm in diameter, so I drillied out matching holes in the weapons and hopped on ebay to pick some magnets that would fit neatly in the holes and... nothing. Hardly anything 2.5mm diameter at all, what's there are all quite long, rather than flat discs. Anybody got a UK source for these, preferably 2.5mm x 1mm? I figure someone must have run into the problem before. |

I got various ones off eBay. It's the Neodymium magnets you want I think and you can get them in 2mm and 3mm. You could always drill out the plastic slightly to put the larger one in perhaps. |

I took a different approach. I magnetized my weapons and put a thin sheet of metal on the Titan's hard points. The magnets are clearly visible, but it was a lot less work and easy to find magnets. |

I've always been interested in doing the magnet thing and your solution sounds interesting. Primarch |

I use guys magnets on ebay, definitely worth a look. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Guys-Magnets Unless you're really good with extemely small/fiddly stuff I would stick to 3mm rods/disks, I certainly can't find anything suitable at 2.5mm. For my titans I've used a mixture of 3*3 rods & 3*1 disks, with an appropriate drill bit in a pin vice it's quite hard to go wrong. I'm also curious to see your ones DS. I'd also like to know what metal you are using, would save me a fair bit on magnets. |

K and j is good. I don't know if they sell metric.... But 1/10 should be close to 2.5 mm.... |

Getting hold of 2.5mm was just too much hassle so I'm going to drill out to 3mm. |
