Thanks for the replies everyone!
Vermis: Yup, the Monolith is all putty, except for the base. I searched on the forums all the way back to the beginning, and someone mentioned using the Land Raider/Rhino top hatch ring as a start for the Pylon, and if you shave off the bottom of each piece, they work great.
Hojyn: Thanks! Do you think the width of the monolith is at least correct? If it is, I may be able to rip off the top four corners, extend the Monolith's height by a few millimeters, and put the corners back on. I can always start a new Monolith on a 25mm base, but if I can save this one, all the better.
It's taken me the better part of four Hitchcock movies, one Woody Allen movie, and about four episodes of Ham on the Street to make.
Seriously though, it's taken about 3 weeks, very off and on. I did the core of the Monolith in one evening, and then added one corner layer per evening, then the second corner layer one per evening, then the top four corners, then the portal and door. It's been really slow because I've had to let each new layer cure before I can start the next one, because I kept smooshing the uncured sections if I tried to rush it.
I've done MINOR greenstuffing in the past, and the Monolith was a really easy starting point for trying out full-scale sculpting since it has so many nice straight lines and block shapes.
The Obelisk is kind of boring right now, I need to do some more detail work and sanding on it to make it pop. I THINK it'll look better once it's painted and has a crystal on it, but the Obelisks as they're drawn in the Necron list are just kind of bland.
