So I've recently been buying and painting Epic for the first time in quite a few years. I've got some plans in place for new armies, but I'll start this thread with a pic of my NetEpic Dark Angels as they currently stand (click for larger pic).

I have a few more bits to add onto this, a 2nd Battle Company is assembled and ready for painting, as are 2 more Deathwing detachments and a few special card characters. I also have a 3rd Battle Company almost ready, just need a few Assault bases and Rhinos to get them done. Oh, and I have a 3rd Thunderhawk (1 for each of my Assault detachments!).

After these are done I'll be changing my attention to a very armour-heavy Imperial Guard army based around a Capitol Imperialis.

They're Hawk Wargames Dropzone Commander buildings, printed 2 to a page (which sends them out approx 65% scale).

Test colour scheme for my Guard using all Army Painter colours

Ultramarine Blue
Deep Blue
Uniform Grey
Platemail Metal
Barbarian Flesh
Dragon Red
Dark Tone wash

The infantry are 2nd hand and don't sit flush on the bases but I think with the flock it's not too noticable, I'm planning on having these guys hand around at the back as the HQ for the Arty co., so hopefully they won't get seen too often!

Thoughts on the colours? I went with a blue basis as a contrast to my Dark Angels.

Bit more IG camo for you:

Red line denotes section HQ. I've added a few red markings to the CHQ's rhino, the idea being the more red, the more important you are!

Nice guns there sir, just a suggestion but something i like to see on guns, perhaps you could paint the muzzle ends black to represent the open tube, otherwise it looks like you have a cover over the barrel ends.
