Good evening to the forum. There are some great armies up here, and although I can't match the awesomesauce of some of these armies, I thought I would share mine.
Some background. I am a longtime 40K and Fantasy player. I got sucked into Epic twice, and twice my gaming group bailed on it, and I was left holding the bag. Fast forward nearly 15 years, and Ogre, and Silentbob show up at my door with a box of spacemarines, and say "they are free, you are playing." And that, is how I got back into epic.
I give you what Ogre has dubbed, "The Sons of Sauron"
Most of the army has been included on my other hobby blogs, hence the wierd groupings of some of the shots. After this was taken, I did a couple titans, characters for the bikes, and the dreads for the green tactical squad.
The titan scheme is Legio Crucius (Warmongers) Which I chose simply because I wanted to paint black and white stripes.
A little later, I added some Terminators, and Devastators to round out the army a bit. Don't ask why there are 4 missile launchers on the dev stands, thats how I got them, and didnt know any better till after they were painted!
Missing in the group shots are 2 units of landspeeders that I finished and was too lazy to break out the camera for. I will have to include them in the next update.
On the bench now is a Reaver titan, basecoated, I just need to figure out how I want to do the freehand on it.
