It might not be much in the way of news, but it is somewhat encouraging.

Update:

I sent Nic a reminder email, and he replied thusly:

Dear Andreas,

Can you please let me know more details of what you are looking for and my
sculptor will make a test piece. Once he knows what he is making, he will
then be able to give me a price and I will be able to let you know how many
figures we need to make to get the project to pay for itself.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Nic

I'm going to send him a picture of a Terminator from T3:

Or these:

If anyone had a decent pic of a Chaos Android, I could send that along as well.

Any other thoughts?

T1000 clones - I would be keen on some robotic miniatures in 6mm scale.  Don't think my slowly growing collection of chaos androids will ever end up becoming enough for an army on there own.

ROFL!  Can't see the forest for the trees.

I don't think too many references would be needed.  Most skeletal-robots-with-guns are probably going to look fairly generic at 6mm.

Hit me in the Ego with a natural 20!  Roll for damage!  Hope to hell I pass my Humility check.

Yeah, I'll just send along something like that to Nic and see what he comes up with.  An alternate idea is to have someone here sculpt the master and get Nic or another company to cast it for us.

I include myself in that statement, BTW. :;):

I might try something.  I've been converting a Nid heirodule for the best part of three weeks, so I'm in 'putty' and '6mm' modes but aching to do something else.  With putty.  In 6mm.

No promises though - that it'll turn out well, anyway. :;):
