With a computer and a (very good) printer with decal paper, I suppose. What brand of decal paper are you  usinng?

John from Decals Express is doing 6mm Slammer/Merc decals for me ! ?(Now Someone just has to make 6mm Slammers !) I'm guessing he's using a hi-tech computer/copier or some alien Tech from Roswell/Area 51-S4 ! :alien: :D

Hi!

I have the papers to make such decals.

What program you use to make the images?

..and can I have access to the file to do some myself?

I have been told that the "Make your own" paper is thicker then normal decals. Is this true?

...thanks fella's. How I make these decals is relatively simple, but does take some time.
First off you need decal paper that is inkjet friendly. I went on google and looked for inkjet decals. There are a few companies out there. The one I chose was Bel Inc. I'm sorry but I don't have the web addy, but if you google search bel inc it probably won't be hard to find.
Next you need something to print on the paper. I use Excel. Design you decals ,find the size you want to print at, of course printing draughts on reg paper. When satisfied do it on the decal paper.
Right, now here's where I needed to resolve a problem I first encountered. My first decals would be "touchy",in the fact that some of the colour would bleed out the edges. So after pondering awhile(quite awhile), I obviously determined the ink wasn't cured( with an inkjet when is it ever???). So I thought that I would try to cure the ink. I took my daughter's hairdryer and used the "hot" mode for a few minutes (ouch me $#%*&!! fingers!). I then let it set overnight.
Next step is to use "krylon" spray acryllic over the decal sheet completely covering, but not to overdue. When this is dry (even in an hour) cut and apply as you would a regular boughten(and expensive)decal.
Now I've done all this on my "old" computer(still runs a Pentium II processor  ),so I don't think its a question of a computer.
Primarch I can Pm you the file I have if you are interested.
BTW I'm happy to post along with all you other's. I've witnessed some wonderful post's on this forum.
