simple re-pose on the imperator works wonders. Fencing on the deathstrike titan is a great addition as well. |

The repose on the Imperator was due to using the original hellstorm cannon for some other project and having to scratch build most of the one that you see. The fenced off bits on top of the warlord are the CLP. I've been meaning to either build a little spotter craft to go here or maybe some kind of council of magos and imperium officers in deep discussion to represent legate (or both). Next - some units from one of my less complete armies - Tau. For the colour scheme I wanted to go for the "standard GW ochre" type look and then I saw Onyx's tau and essentially copied them ![]()

The banners look fantastic. How did you do them? |

The banners are made from greenstuff. I flattened out greenstuff onto baking paper, cut it into a rectangle shape, then made edges look worn by tearing bits off, finally I distorted the paper with the greenstuff on it to give a "blown in the wind" effect. When set the banner can be easily pealed away from the paper and stuck where needed. At present the banners are just base coated and washed. I need to come up with cool name and insignia for my legion that I then hope to paint freehand onto the banners. |

Where'd you get that fencing from? |

The fencing was taken from an etched brass ladder kit for model railways that I found in a local store. Not very cost effective as the kit basically only contained the fencing you see and cost more than £5 I seem to remember. If you want any more details I think I still have the packaging for the kit somewhere that I could dig out when I get home. |

Yeah I've been looking around for industrial type stuff in Z scale train sets but its expensive and slow going and I've yet to find a fence I like ![]() |

Some WIP conversion work for my Ork army. Besides some GW bits I used parts from the Exodus wars and Dystopian wars ranges. The three big things will be fortresses and the smaller ones wagons. I have put this army project on hold after seeing the Defeat in detail kickstarter.
