Inspired by Pacific Rim, I'm going to write a free expansion for MechaWar, introducing giant monsters for your mechs to fight against. Writing the rules is fairly easy, but I'm not sure where to get good minis. Any ideas?

I am runnig around with this idea for half a year or something. But i could not decide on writing my own rules or modding some existing system. But as a Kaiju Fan i often thought about one big monster and a small army fighting against it.

For the Miniatures. I want to try some 3D printing but i can not decide where to begin a design. I am not that good with traditional hard surface modeling(so no mechs or machines), what i would use instead is 3D sculpting like zbrush or sculptris.

Here is a sample work. http://dasbilligealien.deviantart.com/a ... -353427773
So here is what i can offer. Make a 3D sculpt and somehow learn to make it printable :) For a Master or jsut printing.

The Skyth look very close to what I'm after. Anyone got any scale pics of them?

@leaxe - I looked at Monsterpocalypse but think the range is too big and too pricey.

@DasBilligeAlien - Nice start. You should do something with that idea.

Someone at TMP pointed me in the same direction. Might be a bit large but, honestly, they're carol enough that I don't care. Jaegers are awesome, too!
