Hi All, Here are some pics of my Tau army. First 3k painted and next 2k on the way. Taken on my camera phone, so sorry about the quality. The Hammerheads are Skyrays with the missile rack replaced with parts from a 40k pulse carbine. Whole army  Firewarriors  Hammerheads  Crisis  Air caste  Recce  Objectives (WIP)  Thanks for looking

Thanks for the comments guys The infantry bases are 30mm x 15mm. I thought the extra space looked better and gave me more options to add drones or spread the troops out. The tanks are on Ground Zero Games flying bases. The are basicly a 20mm circle with a hole in. I then cut up some paper clips to use as pins to lift the tank up. |

(I've been out of the epic loop for a while so sorry if this is a dumb question!) 1.5mm high laser cut ply bases from Fenris Games are what I'd recommend, they come in very many sizes and shapes and you can commision them for not much to cut sizes they don't have. |

Yep, the spacing on those bases looks spot on - good compromise between standing in a line and a full horde effect. |

I like it. Really good looking cohesive force. I too am impressed with the bases. Not just the size but also the painting/modelling - really good mate! |
