Well, I've got so many projects on the go, sometimes I don't know what's what! ?

Was looking at one of the old Trygon models the other day, then went to the Forge World site to look at the 40k Trygon, rummaged about in my bitz box, and suddenly I had created this, it's still a work-in-progress:

And here's the new Trygon with two Scythed Hierodule friends (I still need to get some more "armour plates" for the second Hierodule):

The Tygron looks very nice.  Great job on updating the model.  Could you list the rough parts used?  It looks like the old Tygron base/snake part.  Then head and arms from a 40k Hormagaunt?  I do see a piece of extended carapcace and adrenal gland.  Other bits I am missing or wrong about?

Thanks!

Trygon - Parts used:

-Old Trygon body, upper claws and head removed
-Left and right medium and small new Ravener claws
-Termagant/Hormagaunt head
-Adrenal Gland and Extended Carapace bits
-Green stuff as filler

Drilled "sockets" for the arms/claws, positioned the new head on the stump of the old, used Green Stuff and the Gland/Carapace bits to fill in gaps.

Because the old Trygon claws are "layered" you can do some cool positioning too.

Okay, wow.  I simply have to make a Trygon.  It's a moral imperative.

Listed above, and you've got to post a picture when you're done! ?;)

Heh.   Probably the only person that owes Epicomms more pics than me is Maksim.

Actually, I'm just waiting for some parts I won on eBay to do that one... *laugh*

Wow, that looks great. I love the way you got the old and new to gell together so well.

Good Work!

Well, the parts arrived yesterday, but the "one-handed" deathspitters are *way* too big to be used on the Termagant bodies for Barbed Hierodules, so I'm going to have to figure out some other way to do them.
