Hi Taccom! In this topic I'll show you my ideas for my personal Epic Necron army. I'll post also photos of project about the table, the scenery and the 3D project of vehicles and models.

The monolith was this one:

I've printed it with Shapeway, using "White and Strong Flexible". It is a very cheap material, but also very difficult to paint. So I've used decoupage lucid to create a base on the model (3 layers...but it work!!!).
So I've finish this first model. I use Blender to sculpt all the stuff, and I've realized also Obelisk and so on (stay tuned on this tread, you'll se a lots of cool stuff :D ).

I've painted also a necron base (proxy by Exodus War - Edenites). The base came from Dark Realm Miniatures.

FUD is easier to paint as it lacks the same porous properties (and has better detail resolution albeit more expensive). If you seal the plastic before painting you'll have an easier time of it. Thinned out Elmer or PVA glue will do the trick for you. Now that being said, great design and wonderful monolith!!

I've moved your log to the 6mm board, which is where most of the other hobby logs are :)

Thank you everyone! I'm so happy to see that you like the first step of my work on my loved Necron!

Here a new model!

I've take a 28mm Ctan Shard of the Deceiver, and I've realize this:

It'll be my 300 pts WE ...I love the Deceiver model!!

The base is incomplete yet!!!!

With the lord on the base holding the tesseract in his right hand, this model fit perfectly with the new bg of the necron...there's a necron lord on the base guiding the ctan shard, so everything it's allright!!!

Soon new update and new 3D picture of Necron Models...

Gw dead grass will make those bases pop and pull everything together, you should look into it. Nicely done though.
