So I painted up my first test figure from Microworld's Lizard Rider range. I've had them forever and finally got around to trying to paint them. Just a T-Rex for now, but have some base coats on a couple more T-Rexes, Stegs, and Paras. Hopefully I'll get some cash to order the others soon.

Thanks!

And here are some more I did last night. I may have a bit of a delay on any more as I am missing turrets.

Very nice!
Especially like the skin patterns and the Dino Raider purple! :D

What game/list are you using them with?

I actually started doing them as an alternate force to use with the Robotech RPG Tactics coming out at the end of the year.

Wow, awesome stuff! What turrets are you missing, I'm sure I have spares lying around, I'd be happy to send you what you need

Thanks thedepot29. I am missing a T-Rex Top Turret, both side turrets for 2 Stegs, and a Para Lance turret (which is partially my fault though, I was short the side turrets on the T-Rexes and thought the larger turrets looked better, though I have 5 Para Lance turrets total, with 6 Paras) I tried fudging some of the turrets to make stuff work out, it just didn't all work out. I am missing a bunch of the T-Rex small turrets, but by using the large lance turrets I fixed it, etc.
The figures got put into storage for a while, unassembled and not bagged, that was apparently a disaster.

I want to order the rest of the stuff too, but money is a smidgen tight right now (Blame the Robotech Kickstarter, damn you Robotech!)

Alright, well here are the Ceratops, some somewhat blurry raptors, and a Parasuar Lance with a Eldar Jetbike 'Command'

I also need to order a big batch of 40mm bases as I am out, hence why the bases aren't done/don't match. When I have all the bases sorted and figure out a basing theme I'll knowck that out and hopefully get a nice good group picture of the lot of them. It looks like I need to order more Ceratops, Raptors, and then the stuff I don't have yet, like that gorgeous Brachiosaur.

Nicely done. I get such a Dino-Riders vibe from these minis.... but that may just be because I am a sucker for 80's toys!
