Hi all, Quick couple of questions for you - 1 - What is the biggest 6MM model produced? Is the Emperor the biggest of the non customised models? What about custom built? Non terrain only please! 2 - What is the smallest 6MM model produced? Are Squat infantry the smallest, I'd have though gun drones would be really small but I've never seen them. What other lines do large 6mm forces? |

1 - GW - the Imperator; non-GW - probably Stormshadow's Pegasus lander 2 - the Ratling sniper? 3 - Dark Realm Miniatures (DRM) |

1: Well the Emperor calss is certainly the biggest by GW anyway. I guess it also depends a bit on how you measure the size. Is it height, or masse or weight? The Mk3 and 4 gargants would probably be some of the heaviest. 2: Gun Drones are probbly some of the smallest by GW although I've seen smaller drone type models by other manufacturers. I suppose the old circular Nurgle stands would also count somehow although they're not individual miniatures. For regular infantry I think the ratling Sniper is actually just a nit smaller than the Squat infantry. It certainly looks a bit more flimsy but I haven't checked the mass or weight ![]() ![]() ![]() 3: DRM, and GZG both have sci fi lines. GHQ historical minis could be used as well if you want. |

Ratlings are definitely smaller than Squat warriors. |

>>What other lines do large 6mm forces? Do you mean What other lines of 6mm SciFi are out there? Brigade Models GZG has two lines Dirtside Minis & Far Future Adler has their very nice Dark Star line Scotia Micromodels also Old Crow has some nice watercraft and dropships. Just to name a few. You should go join Maksim's 6mm SciFi Yahoo Group. Lots more listed there. dafrca |

Irregular does some exceedingly cheap infantry and vehicles. The vehicles aren't really worth anything, but the infantry is decent for the price (50 stands for under $20). The alien attack infantry is a decent stand-in for Tallarn (think hooded cloaks criss-crossed with bandoliers). There's also the "Days of Empire" line from Stan Johannsen miniatures. I don't have any, but they look pretty decent. |

Surely the old Mega-Gargant is bigger than an emperor, even if it's not taller. |

Not to be a pain, but the "Days of Empire" line is made by Reviresco. Stan Johannsen does not make a 6mm line any more. Not sure why he took them out of production, but he did and would not make/sell any more to the one person I know who asked him to make more for them. dafrca |

If we are talking Volume vs. hight, I think you are correct. ![]() dafrca |
