Step 1 - drink filter coffee

step 2 - leave coffee grains on top of cupboard to dry out

step 3 - remember. scrape off mould and dry out in a low oven instead

step 4 - profit?

They stick better to pva glue then sand seems to - presumably becuase they're porus on a micro scale. you do need to make coffee with them first to get rid of the oils.

Need concrete?

egg shells.

need tyranid pods?

Could mix in some casings from beech tree nuts, they come with gribbly spikes/tentacles

only on 40k models at moment:

look at the top right squat's boot.

A piece of crushed eggshell - they've the right sort of texture for concrete, and make nice slabs of rubble:

I'll try it further when I'm basing some of the war engines.
