I mainly play Eldar in Epic, but have always wanted an Ork army. As a New Years resolution I promised that I would finish an Ork force this spring. I tinkered a bit with army lists and came up with the following 3000 points force:

- Big warband
- Warband
- Stormboyz Mob
- Big Blitz brigade with 2 Zzap guns
- Kult of speed with 8 buggies
- Kult of speed with 4 buggies and 4 scorchas
- Gunz mob with 3 extra gunz and a Zzap gun
- Stompa mob with Supa Stompa
- Gargant
- Fighta-bomma squadron

The next decision was colour. I like the red Speed Freek colours scheme, but the army I put together felt like a Bad Moon force with at lot of expensive stuff like Gargant and Stompas. Only a rich Warlord could afford those. I also decided to not use black as contrast colour as it gives a too sharp contrast. I picked deep blue instead. This is my progress so far.

Sorry for the somewhat bad pictures. The white balance is completely off which makes them appear darker then they are.

Good and bright try a grey card file as a background might help with the colour problems

Really cool. I love the little scenery elements you have on the bases.
