Wow, great painting !

I was thinking of doing some Eldars in those colors too... Were you by any chance inspired by the cool-looking Banshees on page 60 of Swordwind?   :)

Love the objectives. I can see the middle row ones are made from the Vibro Cannons, what are the ones in the back made from?

Thanks for the comments guys - Hojyn the similarity to the Banshees on page 60 of Swordwind is just happy coincidence - most of my Banshees were painted years before Swordwind was published :) I do like the scheme though! I wanted to give all my aspects a more uniform look (or as much as possible) rather than the rainbow of colours they are usually painted in. Black, Red and White are good martial and deadly looking colours to my eyes. It is a colour combo you see in lots of poisonous animals.

I still have to rebase all my swooping hawks (they all have an Exarch currently), and paint up my Dire Avengers and new shining spears, but I'm glad to have this lot out of the way!

The Ulthwe and Sam Hainn Avatars I'm just giving to friends who use those craftworlds (hence the different base finishes), as I bought extra Avatar packs just to get lots of Exarchs :)

The ones at the back each have two of the plastic heavy weapons platforms (on the sides) plus Eldar Star Cannons from 40k. The middle bit of the vibro cannon objectives is also from a star cannon.

Really nice :) Always like it when players paint details on infantry :)

Great work Marconz- the colour scheme looks really coherent- would be stunning to face on the battlefield.

Thanks for sharing

Cheers

James
