Ctho craftworld lost in time. Old vehicles lost to latter craftworlds. Craft banner depicting the Eldar home world and its 3 moons. I am a crap painter so be kind. Probably need thin (gold?) stripes on the body of the vehicles to lift them a bit. Risk is i am not good at painting straight lines !! Also the buildings probably would benefit from a contrasting ribing (gold?). Still got some more vehicles and fliers to do.

wow, those are some old school eldar vehicles! I think that the paint jobs are great, especially the left and right objectives. Legion4 is going to go nuts over those tanks though

Yeah...aren't those REALLY REALLY rare?!

They are limited release from GW USA. The 3 big boys at the back are cobras, the 3 on the right fire prisms, and the 3 in front on the left are falcons with turret "X". I have 3 more cobras and Xfalcons to paint. Also have 6 falcons(tank I- eldar grav tank hull) with 2 different turrets to paint . Then the matching fliers - vampire, phonix and nightwing.
The objective on the right at the back mounts a nightspinner turret. So no gold stripes on the tanks ?

Those are nice man, still eldar but just a little different looking. Pretty much like you'd expect from vehicles in a galaxy.

Gold could work, but stripes would be too much... It would only improve them if used more sparingly than that, I'd say. They're great!

Very Nice !!! Yeah those Eldar X Vehicles are extremely rare. I have some ... Too bad G/W US stopped selling them over a decade ago. At G/W UK's orders !!!! And at that, the US only sold them and other very rare Epic for about 2 years, before the UK put a stop to the Colonials !!! Very interesting - never seen those before. The ones on the far right look more like dark eldar ships.

Stingray- They were listed as eldar fire prisms. Interestingly GW USA in their in house magazine the Troll actually used them and the other models in the range as dark eldar vessels for battlefleet gothic. I have a poor copy of those rules(which would scan) if you are interested.

Next 6 to be painted - primed in white so you can see them better.

Wave 2. Painted the grav tanks and started the flyers. The big flyer is the proto type vampire bomber. The mid sized is a pheonix bomber. Interestingly my 3 pheonix came with an under body turret. Probably doesn't belong with it as every other one i have seen pictured doesn't have it. The turrets are the same as on the grav tank in picture 1 of this thread. The little flyer is a nightwing.

Second shot of fliers. The grav tanks and the flyers are the same colour as wave 1. Just a poor light day for my poor old camera.

Yes they were different. Thats why i chose Ctho craftworld, the lost craftworld. With no contact with other eldar their equipment would be quite unique. Truely lost in time.
