I have a detachment of the old plastic land speeders to paint (the ones with heavy plasma guns mounted on them).  If anyone here has painted these before, what colour did you paint the plastic stem?  Seems anything?s going to look pretty noticeable!

I paint the rims of my bases brown and stick green flock on top so I figured goblin green would be the way to go.  Anyone got any better ideas?

I usually paint the stem according to the color of the base.

Since I use sand for most of my armies, I use Desert Yellow. I also used to use green flock and Goblin Green for the stems.
