Nice! Looking through those old combat cards from Sabretooth Games I also really want to do some pre heresy marines at some point. Gotta finish my new Dark Angles army first though.

Nice  As i see this the question arised in me how the pre-heresy legions where organised? Each company with 100 marines? 6 tactical, 2 assault and 2 devastator-squads? I think not? Emperors Children would be tempting

That is how the codex chapters were organised, the original legions never had much fluff written about them. Pre-heresy they were all very simular, during the heresy they used the SM1 templates, after the heresy they used the codex organisation, now the the codex is much less relevant. Technically they should still abide by it. |
