Ah ! Good !!! John is the man !  Here's a link to some of the decals he made for Mercs in the Slammmers ... some nice stuff ... I'm using some for my various IG units - http://badideagames.com/HS.html And as I said, he'll make up any decals you like as well ...

If you know someone who plays 40k imperial guard see if they have any of the basic decal sheets they can spare. I've gotten good milage out of the tiny numbers and skulls off that sheet for my space marine and chaos netepic forces. |

Have you looked at home printer transfer/decal paper? you can get injet and laser compatible versions from hobby shops, ebay, etc. Probably not an efficient option for commercial use though. |

Bad Idea is getting new printers ... so stand by ... As I said, just tell him and/or send a pic(s) of what you want ... He's got some stuff I requested he's working on now ... just awaiting printer arrivals ...

hi Folks, First, apologies to anyone who sent email to the Bad Idea Games address. I hadn't checked in about a week, but I sent out responses about an hour ago. For anyone who wants/needs custom decals, let me give you the current state of things... 1) I am happy to make custom decals. I *enjoy* doing the artwork and layout. And because of that, if the images are not something super-time-consuming or onerous in some way, I charge very little for doing the layout. 2) We don't charge extra for prints of custom decals, but (per above) may give you a one-time surcharge for design and layout. Once we have the sets laid out, we keep them "on file" sot hat you can order again if you like. 3) This is the bad part. We have 4 printers. At this moment, none of them work. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find anyone who can repair them that is not far, far away overseas. We are working to get printing back up and working, but are beginning to believe that we have a karma issue. 2 of the printers were recently purchased from ebay, and were in working condition. One simply failed making horrible grinding noises. This one, the seller is going to repair or replace, but it'll take a few weeks at the minimum. The second one failed a little more quietly and I've done some troubleshooting with the seller, but the bottom line is that it's not printing either. Until we get the printer issues resolved (and we cannot keep buying them at $500-$600+ a pop and having them not work!), we can't actually print. We appreciate the support that we've received from our customers (hi L4!) and fully understand if you get decals from another company. We'll continue to try to get back into production mode though and will announce any progress on our website. Thank you, John - on behalf of Bad Idea Games |
