Well... I've been busy lately, even more so now I am on WoW... oh well, but I still have a little time to do other stuff.

As you may or may not know, I've been working on a new Tyranid Project, even though it is very slow, here is a sneak peek of my work.

In my Special Project a while back, I made a small conversion of teh Tyranid Warrior, awhite albino on two others with sything claws.  This I call my v1.

The v2 warriors are great.  Did you use green stuff to change the heads?  I am curious how you did the scything talons.

The Talons look like they were taken from hormagaunts?  Class conversion.

Yeah, used green stuff for the heads. Going to write up how to do these if I can get around to it (and if someone-else don't beat me to it).

But basically I kept nipping the green stuff to form the head.

The talons are actually cut from very thin plasti card, and a blob of green stuff on the end. Once again I used tweezers to nip the green stuff to form the arms.

So lot of nipping. The v2 were prototypes as I wasn't sure how it would look. So I was using old used and painted figures. I'm hoping to use my new ones and these will be v3, but will be a while before I can be bothered.

Nice work Lextar, and thank you for showing that adding carapace to the heads of Epic 'Nid Warriors can be done!  When I eventually do my own Epic 'Nid army I was planning on doing the same - so thank you for showing it IS possible. :cool:
