Really neat! If I ever get around to finish my Freeky army I will have a look at this again.

Cheers guys.

They aren't as neat as I'd like them, but they'll do for now.

In terms of the yellow, it's all about Iyanden Darksun and Ogryn Flesh... ;-)

Although that said, I'm planning on experimenting with the Vallejo paints as I want something with matches the spray undercoating which I use....

Cheers
Reedar

Some small progress...

Knocked up a couple of Battlewagonz, a pair of flakwagonz, and a weird boy tower that will count as a gun wagon with Oddboy Zzap upgrade.

Currently on the workbench; more stompas, dreads/kans and some marines for my well intentioned yet somewhat stillborn ToEG attempt.....

Very effective, like the highlights on the tiles.

Thanks, they took long enough! I had to resist the urge just to dry brush the bejesus out of it about half a dozen times...

great job! the yellow and the tiles came out excellently! the metal on the flakwagon's weapons though, looks a bit too shiny for me, but it could be the picture.

The red robots on your painting table - admech? [edit: never mind - saw them closer :) ]

Cheers Rasta. Nope, I think you're right. The flak guns do need another wash and highlight looking at them again. I have to flock the bases still so will go back and sort at the same time...

Knocked up a flakwagon using an old skool battle wagon as a chassis. Works quite well, I think...

And having grown sick of painting yellow; I decided to paint a trio of Gobsmashas red for use in my 'spare' Ork army.
Didn't turn out great, but considering they were turned out in an hour or so, I'm content with them...

Finished up a first/tester stand of my new infantry wave. The photos aren't great as they were taken in the evening light with my phone, but hopefully you get the idea.

I'm not totally sold on the walls yet. Might have to rethink them.

How do you guys do your ruins?

Looking good Daz!

Keep with the ruins; maybe just a drybrish instead of highlights and it'll blend into the base as 'scenery' as opposed to looking like it might be another model.
That said though I always find it suprising how well something that I thought looked silly at first turns out as solid work when reproduced in multiples/
