Hi folks, I usually use gf9 static grass, but I find it a bit tall for epic. What does everyone here use for static grass? Any recommendations? |

I use Games Workshop's, actually. It's sort of knee-high on most models. |

Hmm, that's the same height as gf9... Is anyone aware of any shorter static grass? |

I've used Woodland Scenics Blended Turf with some success. It's not really static grass, but instead ground foam similar to clump foliage. I think 2mm is about as small as it gets - you can see it at Antinoceti's Workshop ( I hope that's spelled right)under Mininatur/Silfor. |

The best pics I have of what I use are of WM figs, but the scale's close enough for you to get an idea: They're Silfor tufts, the multi-height/dual color "buffalo grass" kind. Basically they're 2 and 4mm long static grass tufts that you pluck off of wax paper and attach via some PVA glue. Army Painter and now GW repackage them but with a good markup. I got mine here: http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/warg ... s.html?p=2 |
