If you want a bit more shading on your bone colour you can thin down some Snakebite Leather and wash the wraithbone with that.

Hi,

thanks for the advice... but it's actually a nice bone-colour. It looks white on the picture because of the flash, I guess.

Here's what I did :

Undercoat white
Diluted Bleached bone
Diluted Chesnut wash
Drybrush Bleached Bone
Drybrush 1/2 Bleached Bone, 1/2 White
Very light Drybrush 1/4 Bleached Bone, 3/4 White

I also use gloss varnish for the gems. Easier than the 'eavy metal method !  :;):

Yeah, a flash will wash out contrasts.  I take pictures with huge amounts of light when I'm indoors, and in full sun when I can get away with it outdoors (I live a little west of Seattle, Washington.  Sunny days are a summer-only thing around here)

Is that a blue tint on the Phantom?

They look good, though.
