My Space Marines are doing well and while I'm not really bored with them, I still thought "I try something more fancy". Thinking about "fancy" Praetorians I settled with Imperial Guard. And while I was sitting there, "thinking fancy", I thought the Praetorians would be perfect for a "Steam Punk" setting. Dystopian War models are quite Steam Punk and the size of the gigantic tanks blends well with Epic models - so her we go. The models that form the base of the Leman Russ got a Battlecannon and a Lascannon attached. Otherwise the models are oob. The paint sheme for Infantry and Cavalry is British Empire/Pretorian, for all vehicles silver/brass/wodd - ala steam punk. All models are based on perspex, with grooves for the models. I'm not finished with the Infantry and cavalry. The support teams, show what the bases will look like. I also base vehicles, because it looks more uniform, and the infantry - vehicle size relation doesn't get corrupted. Enough words, pictures of what I got after 3 weeks of frenzy painting not fancy painting: The first batch Different view From horses and men Support is all I need Manticores rock(ets) Shining armour, but no knight Reaching for the stars - Flak. More Iron - iron hearts that is. Regards Stephan |

What an awesome army looks brilliant. Those vehicles came out really well, and the figures are nicely done, great work here. I was thinking about Dystopia wars vehicles as a base for ork battlewagon conversions at some stage. |

Fantastic! I wasn't convinced by the transparent bases but they look great on a green battlefield, lovely and well executed colour scheme |

Utterly amazing. I am going to be stealing that idea. I finally know what I am going to use my Dystopian Wars minis for :-) |

you might want to look at timeline 300 too... very nice work. - do you polish the edges of the perspex for the transparent illusion? |

I like this entire idea so much that I am going to sell me entire IG force and build a similar army. It's just too awesome not to do |
