I'll certainly be keeping an eye on this one...

Cheers mate, Paul will hopefully be dispatching my next batch this weekend so I may be able to post more on this project in a week or so.

Thats the plan of attack mate. I've already got a big box full of goodies, and still more to cut! I feel sorry for the postman who has to deliver the parcel! I think I might need a new cutter soon :) ;D :)

No painted goodies to show this week although I have been painting more heresy reinforcements.

I have however put a few more of my city wall modules together so I thought I'd post a few pics to show scale.

Hi!

I have quite a few sets of custom made walls from back in the day, but one of this size would be pretty cool to have. :)

Hi!

Remember who made them?

Mine were made by Ron Dubray, he's a sculptor and minis guy for dream pod 9 doing heavy gear models. Way back then he made some custom resin molds for some high walls, trench systems and bunkers. The pictures are in my primarchload link in my sig.

I do like these though. They are lighter than resin and psypher can make quite a few interesting designs and modifications with his cutter. I would think these store more easily than my heavy resin stuff too.

Hey guys thanks for the interest. These pieces are the basic wall units I have a corner section and a gatehouse on the way and a few other pieces. I intend to snazzy these up a bit with plastic strip and other odds and ends and I hope to be able to post a few pictures by the weekend showing what my long term plan for these will be.

Primarch mate your right these are extremely light being hollow and are easily boxed as they can be put over on the side or back wall for stowage. I will be doing damaged/breached sections later that can be swopped out during a game, one of the reasons for having multiple separate pieces.

Paint will be awhile yet but construction continues and I have more designs to get down on paper too. :)

They are light pieces once put together...I had a quick mock up of some of the pieces and I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing them all jazzed up :)

Mind you, I nearly had a hernia carrying the box to the car the ammount of wood that was in the box. I'm sure Moredakka is planning on replicating the full length of the outer defensive walls of the Emperors Palace or similar ;D :D :P
