It's been a long time since I've seen a physical Skullhamma from the mid-nineties, and holding the new Battlefortress from SG in my hand, I can't make up my mind if it is about the same size. Does any Warlord out there use both in their army? If so, does the Skullhamma look out of scale when compared to the newer ones? I've got a chance to buy an old one long distance, but I can't find any pictures of old and new side-by-side. -Allen |

I don't have the SG Battlefortress, but I'm pretty sure it's quite a bit bigger than the Skullhamma, which I've used as a Battlefortress proxy. |

I did a quick comparison shot. The size difference is not too bad I think. Not when one is used as a battlefortress and the other a gunfortress. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

As long as its bigger than your battlewagons why are you worried-its orks after all -every construct should be different. |

Thanks for the replies, guys; and especially nuglug for the pictures. jprp wrote: As long as its bigger than your battlewagons why are you worried-its orks after all -every construct should be different. Yes, "different" is why I was interested in the model; I thought Skullhamma's would look different from the SG version, and adding one or two to the army might make it look like there was more variety. On the other hand, I wanted to make sure it was at least similar in size. I didn't want to ever confuse anyone in to thinking a piece on the board was just a battlewagon and then "surprise" them when 5 supa-guns from a "mini gunfortress" open up on them. Thanks to the pictures, I think this will work; especially if I can add some bits (ie. guns) to bulk it up a bit. -Allen McCarley |

The EpicA Battlefortress is a lot bigger than a Skullhamma. |

Mmmh. The Skullhamma. Another of my all time favourite Epic miniatures! |
