Hi, I'm not quite sure if this is in the right section, its more of a Blood Angels collection, than a specific list, but I could not see an epic armageddon 'projects' section. Apologies if it is in the wrong place :)

I've been helping a friend of mine collect and paint a spacemarine army. I suggested Blood Angels since a) That gave him two possible lists to use b) I wanted to paint something red.

This is what we have so far. I'llpost two pictures, one of what we have painted and one of the whole collection so far. Any advice on what else we need to collect to make it a good set to choose lists from (ie I know we only have 3 bases of terminators), any tips to improve the painting and any conversion suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The bikes will be rebased to match the painted ones, two to a base. There are 6 bases of generic characters that we based up with tac marines to allow us to swap them into any formation (little bit of artisitic liscence to put them into scouts and termies). I also have the spare minis to make the death company up to 6 bases, so that when we play with the codex list we can field them as a tactical company.

[Mods, would you mind moving this if I have not put it in the appropriate section please ;D ]

Impressive collection Matus, some close ups would be great.

Moved this to 6mm section, which is where most of the epic project logs are.

Looking good. I find my Blood Angels a difficult force to play with though.

Have you tried the NetEA list? Stormravens and Land Raider Redeemers add options not available in the euk list. I find Stormravens in particular help balance the list's ostensible emphasis on cc.

Nice. I wish I went with less detail, that way I would have had made more than two. I want to make more for my Grey Knights but don't want to go into all the effort of the first two.

I prefer the small base, it gives you more room and you can put stands underneath the stormraven as if its just dropped off some troops.

Oh good call on the base size, never crossed my mind about what fits under it!

Big base looks best to me. Gives a nicer feel for the area the aircraft takes up on the table for engagements etc. Plus it looks like it won't tip over :D

Nice scracth builds too btw ;)

When its on the gaming table, you wouldn't notice it :P it looks more dramatic with blood angels just beneath it as if they just jumped out.
