Appreciate the warming comments. I have one more coming up soon I hope. I must say that oil washes and airbrush both speeds things up and increases results considerably. Painting terrain used to be a pain but now I am enjoying it. Not the windows, though. I am developing a severe allergy there...

Wow! Great work here. That's some exemplary terrain that I'm sure makes your games that much more engaging! Keep it up.

I wish, gunslinger. I hardly play anymore. Lots of other stuff taking too much time nowadays. Painting is what I do, mainly. I do feel that terrain is mostly overlooked and for me the holistic aesthetics is important - not just painted minis. If I just wanted to crush an opponent, I suppose I would go for chess instead. Or magic...
However, there are some truly awesome fanbuilt terrain kits now, and I think that soon plain feltmat tables and manky cardboard will be the exception, not the rule.

Some lessons learned. The spraybooth churns up dust that sometimes settles on minis. This time I could wipe it off before it settled in the final varnish layer.

Painting windows is a pain in the rear. However, using oil based pin washing techniques, it is much easier. The long open time means that t is easy to wipe of any excess paint. However, as evident from these photos, I need to be more careful. Damn you excellent camera!!!

Not too fussed about the model mates dark sand stuff. Probably works better at bigger scales.

It is very hard to photograph minis. This time the colours were bleached out somehow. Probably too much light let in. I think it looks better IRL. Or maybe my eyes are getting old ::)

Greetings. Seeing as I have not posted anything here for ages, I thought it best to liven the place up with some new projects. I have actually played a game recently with my LatD Redux, and while getting brutalized by AT armies of superior skills is... interesting, I thought I'd try to make the cult at least at little bit more shooty. Enter Hellcannons and Alters.
