I hope to build at least one example of each of the AMTL weapons from currently available parts, in order for those without huge bitz archives or eBay access to make the weapons they may want to field. I've decided to start with the Tactical weapons group.

The Tactical Weapons group, for those who are unaware, comprises the following weapons, where ones currently in production are shown in italics:

Gatling Blaster - Warlord only
Inferno Gun
Melta Cannon
Multiple Rocket Launcher - Reaver only
Plasma Cannon
Turbolaser Destructor - Warlord & Reaver
Vulcan Mega Bolter

Using this list, I've decided to fir of all make sure that I can make all the weapons for a Reaver chassis. The main problem is getting the mount to look right, so one of my design principles is to use either the Reaver Turbolaser Destructor or Multiple Rocket Launcher arms as a bsais for whatever weapons I convert.

The first of these I've done is a Melta Cannon - mainly as I've got a fairly successful weapons fit in use atm that makes use of the Melta Cannon, and I want to field the Reaver as WYSIWYG.

Here's the end result:

Instructions to follow later.
