I'm going to try and update this with each stage of construction and painting, this is one of the master copies we were sent by the casters - suggestions on paint schemes would be helpful, so far I'm thinking either bone white, english rifleman green or a weathered white look, then apply the Royal Empire sigils on top of that. Apologies that all photos are taken on my phone, so lower quality than I'd have liked but the digital camera has broken itself, threw itself off the shelf, no help from me I swear! First pic is the components of this beast, minus the engine (which I left on the desk in the EW office ![]() |

It's a stealth Behemoth - they cost extra but have uber cool factor :p. |

A little bit OT, but what's the Large Walking Robot Project current state? Sorry again. |

First steps, glue the little head joint plate into the upper body piece, and glue the legs together with the groin. Having done this I think it'd be better for body positioning to leave the legs until after the body is constructed, so the groin can be placed at the angle desired and fitting with the whole model, I actually pulled the legs apart again later in order to reposition the groin piece.

Next up I attached the bottom half of the body to the top half and then stuck the arms into their respective slots, followed by placing the shoulder guards on.

Do I count ten weapon hardpoints on the body and arms? That thing can be armed to the teeth. Obviously some (torso sides, tail gun) aren't going to be Behemoth-class weapons, but wow. |

Weapons, searchlights, access hatches, shield generators, armor plates, heat sinks etc. Pretty much whatever takes your fancy ![]() |

If you opt to use the quadropod legs you'll get even more hard points. (they are not confirmed, but we did experiment with them back in the day). http://urbanleadjunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2 ... emoth.html |
