Good question Jon.... been thinking that this behemoth will be taken by the second in command of my titan legion.... so Legio Ignatum colours it is. Thinking lots of checks on the armour plates with black and a spattering of red. not too sure about the carapace yet but possbily wasp yellow.
Having fun building it at the moment - great cast quality with virtually no mold lines and all detail 100% so been a quick build so far! Makes you realise how bad some molding can be when compared with this mini.

Griffin have worked magic with this fella, have no idea how some of the pieces have been done in metal but they're nearly perfect!

Agree 100% - and now that I have had a play will be ordering another to be a super warlord for the senior princeps of my legio. Now all I need to do is perusade my gaming group to take some special rules for a super warlord... with reactor at the back and with all that armour 1+ saves everywhere.... might be able to persuade them although might cost 900 per hull tp keep them happy.

Oh and btw Jon awesome sculpt... love the pose - the leg movement entices many torso angle options... so decieded to put that choice off until I undercoat:)

- if i can persuade Tom to give me 5 of those guns :D

Having retrieved the Behemoth from Exodus Wars and repaired the battle damage from this first campaign, I brought him into work and took a couple of photos on a half decent camera.
I've added the half finished missiles - painted with same technique as rest of white but used badab black instead of brown in order to distinguish their replacability and shinyness.

The weathering has been achieved with very thin washes of browns and oranges on the bottom of the legs and sponged on speckles of paint - white on top of red and shield symbol, metal over everything and then mud splatters on leg bottoms.
I've yet to weather the metal and need to touch up areas where it need to be very shiny or oily.

Hand painted please!
It's a shield with 3 white chevrons on a blue field with a crowned tower on the front - the tower was little bit dark though, should do it in light grey next time.
Trying to make the same image work on a banner at he mo.

Big mutha, even if it didn't have some extra height on the base. Some might say a BBW; big beautiful walker. Love the paint - white is so hard to get right.
