Has anyone made or know of links to a model of a hive for Epic? Obviously a scale model is out but i was thinking about possibly something with say a 12 inch foot print and 12-15 inch height (basically a tall central tower with smaller ones encircling it) then you could surround it with your regular buildings. Any pics of other larger than usual buildings would also be welcome. |

I started one, got this far: *edit: spires are plant pots, which means you can stack all the spires inside each other. I'd have filled in the inside of the pots to colour the holes as windows for the end. ![]() |

Hmm.. no offence but you really should be shot for not finishing this project. For those with less extreme ambitions perhaps one tower for the central spire and a few smaller (18 inch ?) towers 12 inches away connected by rampways then surround with standard high rises would suffice? |

jprp wrote: you really should be shot for not finishing this project. But, but… there are so many other fun hobby projects to start and leave half finished! I've never even finished one army, so that hive had no chance ![]() I did make a test ledge, a wider slip-over plastic rim to go between levels that was wide enough for inf bases and somewhere to attach walkways to etc. Needs quite a lot more time and effort to get it past the pile of plant pots level im afraid. |
