Has anyone on site attempted to build the spike from Gaunts Ghosts book "Necropolis"?
If not does anyone know of any images, fan or official?

I couldnt find anything but thought that someone on site might know of something hidden away.
It would make a great centre piece for a display game.

Spoiler below:

Was the spike the huge pyramid on tracks that they entered and took out one of Guar's Lieutenants?

The spike was indeed a huge pyramid on tracks with massive plasma weapons.
When i posted i had it in mind that it was 500ft along the base and the same height (so 500mm) however its 500meters so 1.5m each way!
So is moredakka doing it true scale?!!!

Short answer is no :) True scale would take up a lot of space to store and to put on the table.

Years ago i kept a plastic ferrero rocher (is that spelt right) box that is conveniantly pyramid shaped.
I kept it for a possible necron scenery piece but have decided to us it for the spike instead, it's 17.5cms at the base so way under scale, but a handy gaming size. It will still be the biggest vehicle on the table. ;D

The main guns will be two plastic imperator titan plasma annihilators, other armaments are undecided as of yet.

This is a low priority project at the moment as i am trying to get my siege of vrakks forces together.

Slightly dissapointing but eminantely sensible approach.
Its a shame that its not a priority as im sure it would be great to watch it come together.
does anyone else out there have a table dominating one off creation to share?

I have to keep fighting the temptation to point out a mini-spike can fielded in the Stygian Demon List.
