Hi,
I just received a shed load of robots and was wondering do you base them alone or in groups; say three?

Hi Centurion - depending on what you intend to use them for. The official 'counts as' uses them as Ogryns, which (officially) would mean two per stand. In my interpretation I added a Squatachan controller to the base. If you use them as Obliterators the same should apply. But if you use them as Dreadnoughts, then one per base would be ok. Aesthetically, they are perhaps a little small for basing alone, so I went for 2 per base, with 3 or even 4 being ok, if a bit crowded.

I plan to base mine 2 to a base on a small coin, just slightly larger than the old square bases.
I like this method of basing (and used it for my dreads and bikes) because you can sculpt the coins and make them feature pieces.

ONE per ... that's how we do it. If you look at the E:A "count as/classic model" rules ... the stats appear to me to be one ... And that's the way we been doing it since '90. And our SM bikes are one per and we'll adjust the stats to reflect that ...

I base everything per SM2 or NetEpic. So, my robots are 1 per base.

Hi,
I prefer to base robots individually on 3/4" fender washers or US pennies.

I base mine one on either a 2x2 cm. square base or a small coin. I think either way looks good.
Cheers!

Thanks guys,
Since i'm going for a SM era list i guess i'll go with singles. I used to base them on the old round plastic shields but i'm not about to buy more so i need to look for an alternative base. Coins sounds about right.
Again thanks
