Hi all, seeing that the To6G is nearing its end, I'm planning my Epic career beyond that point: I'll continue the Squatachan army, but include standard IG formations and Titans as well as Catachan stuff; and I just have to make a sniper or two. But above all, and for a nice change, Deffsta will be continued! The oldest among you will remember you had voted to see him painted yellow, so yellow he'll be - or at least, my interpetation of yellow....
So start queueing - Star Waaaagh III is out on May 19th - with Deffsta to the fore! Dum, Dum, Dum, Dum-du-dum, Dum-du-dum....

Phase ! - the recovery: he's been dragged out of storage, luckily intact. First job will be the application of filler and a few minor bits. For those who've forgoten him, I'm attaching an old pic.

(Cunning ploy) Warlord Nazdreg of the Bad Moonz clan is planning to wipe out the Squatachan troops who have been pestering him the past years. Early in the Khanna campaign, a powerful Gargant had been destroyed by a prodigal fighter pilot and his squadron. Hit in its single weak spot, it had exploded, wiping out half an Orky attack clustered around it in the process. The Gargant Deffsta is now being rebuilt, and the Squatachans have deployed an elite force to destroy it before it gets back in action. Unknown to them, however, Deffsta is already operational, and the cunning Nazdreg has prepared a trap for the Squatachans...
Horrendously unoriginal blurb, of course, which serves a purpose (hence the cunning ploy strategy card I played at the start of this turn - er, post). This gives me a good excuse to complete Deffsta - commanded by Barf Vada - in a very particular manner... ?

Uh-oh - times running out - but at least I've completed a 'contract Titan' and have started the old Gargant at last!

Hi all, here he is at last, slightly blurry, and more or less in Bad Moonz yellow, as requested. Well. Some of him....

Is it me, or does the flood control - please try again in 30 seconds remind you of those delays caused by energy barriers in Star Wars 1, when Obi-Wan and Qui-Gonn were fighting Darth Maul at the end of the film?
Anyway, the Imperial recce team's nerbe had returned by now, and the camera operator's hands were shaking less for this view of the port side.
Note the Mekboy Limo which for some reason appears in each pic.
