As part of my Epic Warband rules, I am looking for some Traitor PDF forces. I know that I could use Imperial Guard (that was my intention when I wrote it), but for my personal warband I would like something different. Can anyone suggest any minis for this? I am looking for some interesting minis to put in mini-dioramas on a base. Thanks. |

Beastmen? Or did you wish for something closer to standard IG? |

I am looking for something very similar to IG, but preferably in more exciting and varied stances, and from a different maker... Thanks. |

Another issue. In an ideal world, I would like to use oval bases, about 40mm by 20mm, about 0.75mm thick. Does anyone know the best way of getting hold of these? |

Flat (i.e. similar to Epic or Warmaster bases) or raised (i.e. similar to WH40K,WHFB) ? ![]() |

Flat, like the Warmaster ones. They are for my Traitor PDF and I prefer the flat bases such as the Titan bases. |

None spring to mind here either, if you're set on these I guess it'll have to be cut from plasticard, a bit of a nightmare ![]() Re figs I guess it's the usual suspects, GHQ, Heroics & Ross etc would be your best bet, hmmm which would look most like Traitor PDF I did find These Not sure what the size is and maybe overkill but you never know. |

I have some GHQ modern US infantry and support troops around here somewhere in a package...they are a bit smaller than the Epic ones but unless you mix and match them you won't be able to tell the difference. I am going to use mine as LaTD Traitor Guard. my 2cents, iblisdrax |

They are a bit thick, but "biscuits" used in woodworking are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, including ovals of various dimensions. Also, craft stores have various shapes that have been stamped from thin plywoods for applique... er... applications. Again, they might be too thick for what you want. |

Try GZG 6mm, they have a lot of good infantry troops. And GHQ has some Mujahadeen that might make some good Cultist/PDF ! ![]() |

Thanks guys. Those bike bases look a little large, and are fairly expensive as well. But, that is the kind of thing. I just think that ovals would make the best bases. I have a few GHQ infantry, and they are quite nice but very static in pose. Other modern infantry could work, but I am looking for 'rushing fanatical sci fi infantry' kind of thing. Does anyone have any 6mm Alternative Armies stuff? They look suitable. The biscuits are a good idea, but wood doesn't hold a pint as well. I guess that I will stick to my round metal washers. They work OK. I also have a load of GHZ infantry, since I got them for Brood Brothers. Any links to 6mm sci fi infantry would be good (and yes, I did check out the excellent 6mm Yahoo Group)? |

In a similar vein, can any of you guys tell me anything about a defunct game called Inferno? ? I ran across a reference to 6mm demons and it piqued my interest. A source for generic demons or mutants could be quite useful if the figs are worth a darn. |
