Hey guys
While I've never gotten into the whole "let's post my armies on the web" side of the hobby I have somehow been drawn to put these babies up. For your viewing pleasure and the endearment of the rotten fruit vendor you'll summon upon viewing, let me introduce you to my little Space Elf friends:

Hope these are of some inspiration to a fellow gamer somewhere.
Undercoated green on the sprue, mounted on base, flocked, then 99% have only one colour added and a little highlight.
The vehicles and titans have a lot more work but fundamentally the process was the same, they are broken into detachments by small details which don't mess up the overall look while distinguishing them (when you know what to look for)
Thanks for viewing, all comments welcome!
May the dice gods smile on you, friends
TY
S.

If that is the case, this excellently showcases the difference between painting 6mm and 28mm, as this is a very effective and striking force. Great work... I must get a gallery set up on the main site.

Ack look it's not really as simple as that but what I WOULD like to do is inspire people who have mountains of unpainted figures (like me!) to realise that the actual PAINTING takes a lot less time than thinking "oh s*** this is going to take me forever"

You know what I mean?
In this case everything is spray canned, cut, based, flocked, then one/two/three colour are added in dots. Then the whole lot is drybrushed but fundamentally it doesn't take THAT long.
If you saw my Warmaster armies you'd go "oh my f***** god how does he find time to eat/work/have a family"?
It's all a lie. Trust me. They look great "en masse" but fundamentally the painting is pretty darn shabby.
It's all about technique.

This was my offering to new gamers going "how am I ever going to get 3k painted"?
Here, this is 14,000pt painted. If I can do, so can you.

Soon to follow are 20,000pt of Orks, 8,000pt of IG, 5,000pt of Marines, 4,500pt of Chaos.
They're all "cheat painting"
They look great on the table, they look great en masse...but they're no works of art!
They're just one gamer's contribution to getting other gamers off their bums and painting and gaming, which to me is what this hobby is all about.

Research, collecting, painting, comradeship.
Oh, and bloodshed and bad luck of course!
LOL!

Painting 6mm in quantity is pretty simple, IMO.

The tricky one is 10mm, which I find small enough to be trickier, but not so small you can just rely on implication to fill in the details. :P
