instead of fingertips, do you actually have very tiny tweezers? the mind boggles at how you can work with such tiny stuff! |

Fantastic. Will be interesting to see how the finished dreads/kans/stuff/things will match up to the GW models. |

Amazingly skilled scratch builds dude! I'm seriously impressed. What infantry will you be using? |

This scale is too fiddly for fingertips. Besides, the band-aids on my thumbs get in the way. Man of kent wrote: What Infantry will you be using? Standard plastic minis until I get or make new minis. I would like to build an entire foot army using E&C infantry because I doubt mine would look half as good as E&C. I will see about getting some in January or February. Hopefully I can trade paint jobs for the them. |

Here is my progress. The legs did not take as long as I thought they would and I'm happy with the scale. Now I need to make the rest of the feet. I have only the one strip of 3 pairs made. The plan is to make 3 more strips. All the feet on a strip will be Identical. Each strip will be different. They all look like Deff Dreds to me. Hmmm, maybe I could cobble together Grot tanks and use em for Killa Kans... |

I hesitate to mention this, since I'd be so interested in seeing scratchbuilt Grot Tanks, but if you PM our local Werewolf, you might find some useful bits at the very least... |

I managed to nearly finish building the Deff Dreds which ended up a bit large. Klaws for these are tomorrows project. I hope to get some paint on them as well. |

The Killa Kans are done. A family portrait of all my stompy conversions and builds. Any new metal stompy minis for my collection will be in Bad Moonz Colors because they cost more teef. The other klanz will get some stompy minis as well, which will be appropriate to the Klan. cheers |

Thanks for all the compliments. Participating on such a great forum has really motivated me. This update is pretty big. I've reviewed my previously finished minis and it occured to me that I should have consulted an army list before converting and painting minis. I've decided to use Net Epic organization for unit construction. Some of the changes include; 1. The little platform was yanked from the wyrdboy battlewagon to be replaced by a lower platform for a Kult of Speed Warboss Battlewagon. 2. The looted rhinos and Land Raiders are being repainted in Death Skull colors for use as 3 Bonecrunchas and 3 Bonebreakas. 3. The previously completed plastic goff bonebreakas may become Blood Axe, undecided. For the Kans and Dreadnaughts. Goff Killa Kan Mob. Goff Onslaughter/Deff Dread Mob. Death Skull Killa Kanz (two more to be looted from parts tomorrow.) Bad Moonz Onslaughter/Deff Dread Mob (two more to be larger metal big brothers or Mega Dred Scratchbuilds) Well, this has been a productive week. |
