Great job on the Deff Dredz! You really captured the feel of the larger models. O0

Quick question: I saw a reference to using liquid poly cement; is that what you use for most of your Epic work? The reason I ask, is that I've found CA+ easier to work with for truly tiny bits.

That's some absolutely amazing scratch builds. I think that MEga Gargant may well be one of the coolest Gargants I've ever seen. And the paint job is highly impressive too!

I use plastic cement for a couple of reasons. One is that it is more forgiving than CA. There is time to move a piece around before the glue dries. Also, once it is dry it is not impossible to remove the piece or make changes. The cement itself damages plastic which can make for interesting textures and battle damage.

CA is great for the really tiny parts and it is also great for reinforcing plastic cement bonds. It is essential for all non plastic to plastic bonds.

I can't add anything that the others haven't already said before me - but, DAMMM!

The models look sensational... Really impressive work, very nice paintjobs (in particular the Goff Boss Dread), and superb dedication to get them all done without losing motivation.

Looking forward to seeing future work buddy.

Cheers
Reedar

Another pile of praise upon your works. Shocked and awed.

Also, very, very jealous.

It's been a couple of months (and a few States) since my last post. Now that I have settled in I am enjoying painting my first Otterware.
The miniatures pictured I will use for Future War Commander (Marine List) and they are clearly treasonous zealots.

These are only base coated in various metallic layers. The Vallejo silver I used is very reflective which at first seems bad.
Pictured: Petite Crabe, 4 Nashorns, and 4 Sleepy Cows.

a couple close ups..

So, this is closer to what they look like when finished... 4 Raubtiers (waiting on parts for one)

The painting method used is the same one I use for my orks and is my favorite way to paint. I do use other methods though.
for example, here is a pic of some Otterware I painted for Otter. These are my first attempts at this scheme so keep in mind I will improve as I paint more minis in it. I think these minis are great and plan on painting more when i build my Red Guard army for Future War Commander.

I will be resuming my Orks soon.
